INTRODUCTION
Recent advances in camera phone technology make the iPhone a very capable piece of equipment. With virtually everyone carrying a phone with them these days are also carrying a camera. This four session course aims to help you better understand the operation of your iPhone camera and how best to use it.
Topics will include:
- Understanding your camera's phone menu
- Achieving proper focus and exposure
- Useful tips, tricks, and shortcuts
- How and when to use flash
- The benefits and limitations of a phone camera vs. a DSLR
- How to edit your photos with the in-camera software and other editing apps
- Composition
- People Photography: firends, family, groups, portraits, group photos and candids
- Travel photography
- Nature photography
- How to preserve your photos for the future, photo books, transfer and storage
- Basic camera phone accessories
- Class assignments to practice and more
